We carefully manage children’s food allergies and restrictions and work closely with our customers to understand their centre’s specific needs when it comes to allergy management. We accommodate most allergies, multi-allergy requests and religious dietary restrictions. Some of the most common allergies and food restrictions we manage include: gluten, dairy, eggs, fish, sesame, legumes, vegan, vegetarian and Halal.
All of our allergy-free meals are prepared and packaged in a separate area of our 100% nut-free, pork-free and shellfish-free facility. We ensure quality control on all allergy replacements by sending items out separately from the other food and packing items so they are contained to avoid cross-contamination.
We recognize how important it is for children with allergies and food restrictions to feel included to eat the same foods as their friends. For this reason, our chefs and in-house certified Red Seal Chef work hard to develop food substitutions that match our meals and snacks as closely as possible.
